Our mission: “To promote the health, safety and protection of the general public in the United Kingdom through the development of the highest standards of practice among non-surgical cosmetic practitioners, with special focus on injectables.”

Our key aims and objectives:

  1. To provide regulation through the maintenance of a voluntary register of practitioners.
  2. The advancement of the study, knowledge base and practice of non-surgical cosmetic intervention practitioners to help inform and promote safe, effective and professional standards for the benefit of the general public.
  3. Advancing the education of the general public in the field of non-surgical cosmetic treatments with special reference to injectables
  4. Create an inspectorate which monitors and polices standards for the public benefit.

Membership

The association membership is open to ALL professionals already trained who wish to be represented by an ethical ‘not for profit’ association.

Our aim is to bring together individuals who wish to unite the rights of both the aesthetics practitioner and the general public united by principles of equality.

We also welcome all those that wish to join ACPB as a training provider to register. All training companies when endorsed by ACPB have to adhere to strict guidelines and protocols set out with transparency to promote the highest levels of training.

​​Each training establishment endorsed will follow guidelines, which are set out by the appropriate governing bodies both within the medical arena and aesthetic practitioner industry.

Membership Benefits

  • Two 6-hour sessions of CPD per course completed in the following:
    • Foundation Dermal Filler

    • Foundation Anti-Wrinkle
    • Advanced Anti-Wrinkle
  • Premium discount with preferred insurance provider – proof of membership required
  • Discount offers from industry suppliers (i.e. clinical waste)

    CPD Days Terms & Conditions:
  • CPD days will only be available only in relation to the courses completed and must be completed within 12 months of membership start date.
  • No unused CPD days can be carried over into another membership year
  • It is understood that if a member requires more than two CPD days in a 12-month period for one course then retraining is likely to be required as sufficient competency has not been demonstrated
  • ACPB will release and reschedule CPD days if a minimum number of bookings has not been achieved four weeks prior to the booking
  • The minimum number of bookings for a day to go ahead is three
  • Any bookings cancelled by members less than five working days prior to the CPD day will incur a £49 cancellation fee.

Much CDP training is supported by Cosmetic Couture Training Academy and others who have been providing Basic, Intermediate and Advanced aesthetic training in Manchester for more than 6 years. The combined experience of their trainers and consultants cover over 50 years within the beauty and cosmetic industry.

PROTECTING THE PUBLIC

The ACPB exists to protect the public. Aesthetic procedures are big decisions and all members of the public should be confident in the practitioner they choose. By choosing a practitioner who is a member of the ACPB, you can be assured that you are in the safest hands.

We ensure that all ACPB members are:

  • Required to meet our professional standards at all times.
  • Trained to the highest level. We only accept members who have completed ACPB approved Aesthetic Courses.
  • Have access to further, unlimited training days.
  • In touch with professional medical prescribers, who provide clinical oversight and advice to all members.
  • Up to date with full First Aid training, including Anaphylaxis training.
  • Can get in touch with experienced Aesthetic tutors and practitioners to offer advice and guidance.
  • Fully insured.

ACPB PRESCRIBERS

As a member of The ACPB you will have access to our recommended prescribes that follow The ACPB guidelines and offer clinical over sight.
